Fleets of fast pangas link Bocas Town with every island and with Almirante on the mainland — handy for crew, but the main hazard in the anchorages after dark.

Coordinate is the town waterfront (Noonsite anchorage position). Fares are per person, agreed before boarding: from US$1 to Carenero's Aqua Lounge, about US$5 to Old Bank, Bastimentos (Wikivoyage, 2020–23 — verify locally). Almirante–Bocas water taxis: three operators, US$6 one-way / US$10 return (June 2023); vehicle ferry from Almirante (Wikivoyage). Many water taxis run fast and unlit at night (Noonsite) — use a bright anchor light and keep dinghy runs after dark short.
