Spanish Wells North Shore Beach
25° 32.9′ N · 76° 45.4′ W · approximate
A long, soft white-sand beach on the north shore of St. George's Cay, with very shallow water that runs far out toward a huge sandbar and the Devil's Backbone reef beyond.
Practical
Coordinate approx: placed on the north shore of St. George's Cay north of the town centre (Wikipedia town centre plus ~0.25 mile north). Easy walk from the Yacht Haven. Very shallow for a long way — wading rather than swimming at low tide; a lagoon behind the sandbar is good for children and dogs. A soft-serve ice cream stand on the road to the beach opened 7 pm-10 pm nightly (2023 review, verify).
Best for
A long shallow beach walk from town
