Record blue marlin, wahoo, dolphin, kingfish and tuna run minutes from the Riding Rock docks, and the flats hold big bonefish.
Practical
Riding Rock runs half- and full-day charters (28-ft Odyssey III, typical 8:30 am departure) and encourages catch-and-release. Bahamas rules quoted by Riding Rock: no more than six rods without a permit; per-vessel limits on migratory fish (six kingfish/dolphin/tuna/wahoo in total); no grouper under 3 lb; spearfishing only by free-diving with a Hawaiian sling; no scuba for taking marine life; nothing may be taken from national parks. Foreign vessels need a Bahamas fishing permit (see area file). Point is Riding Rock Marina.
