Position from the Eleuthera Map snorkel marker, which flags it for advanced swimmers around the cays. Atlantic swell and current wrap around the point; only in calm weather and with a dinghy standing by. The old lighthouse operated from the 1800s to the 1940s (Eleuthera Map).
