Gaulding Cay Anchorage
25° 25.8′ N · 76° 36.0′ W
The anchorage off Gaulding Point and Twin Sisters Beach on the Bight side — the closest stop for walking to the Glass Window, Queen's Baths and the Cow and Bull, rated five stars by noforeignland users.
Practical
7-9 ft; tide 2.5-3.5 ft. Waterway Guide calls holding fair on a hard bottom (hunt for sand) while other cruisers report deep sand and excellent holding (noforeignland position 25.4228, -76.5965); one 2024 boat needed several tries. Watch for a few pipes dropped on the bottom. Protection NNE-SE; open W through S — leave if the wind goes south. Almost always some swell. Land on the beach across from Queen's Baths. Construction noise from homes on Gaulding Point. Good Aliv/BTC data. A good stop before or after Current Cut.
