French Leave Marina (Governor's Harbour)

25° 12.2′ N · 76° 14.8′ W

The resort marina at the north end of Governor's Harbour: a single high, fixed mega-yacht pier and a few moorings, with the resort pool, beach and 1648 restaurant ashore.

Practical

Position from the marina's own coordinates (25 deg 12' 11.05" N, 76 deg 14' 49" W). One fixed mega-yacht pier taking two yachts up to 160 ft; $3.25 per ft per night (40 ft minimum), power $0.65 per kWh, water $0.35 per gallon; 110 V and 220 V, 100 A single and 3-phase; book through Dockwa; minimum nights may apply in high season (marina website). The dock is about 7.5 ft above the water at low tide with one dinghy ladder; the north-west face suits big yachts (6 ft MLW 30 ft from shore, 8 to 9 ft further out) and it surges badly in westerlies (ActiveCaptain 2016 and 2019). Moorings: five were added in 2015 ($50 sail, $100 power in 2016 reports); in 2017 two boats broke moorings: confirm their state before using one in a blow. Resort phone (242) 332-3778; VHF 16 (ActiveCaptain). Governor's Harbour Customs serves French Leave.
