A deep, well-protected marina at Powell Point on the south-west tip of Eleuthera, right on Exuma Sound: the natural jumping-off point for the Exumas and the best-equipped dock in South Eleuthera.

Position from the ActiveCaptain marina marker. 47 slips for yachts to 200 ft; controlling entry depth 12 ft; basin 6 to 40 ft MLW (marina website). Rates per ft per night: $3.50 under 30 nights, $2.50 for 30-plus, $2.25 seasonal 90-plus; water $0.35 per gallon; power $0.75 per kWh; 30, 50, 100 A and 3-phase. Customs and Immigration on call. Harbour Pointe restaurant, pool, beach, dive shop, Wi-Fi, fish-cleaning station; phone +1 (242) 334-8500, VHF 16. Fixed wooden docks with short fingers, built for stern-in berthing (ActiveCaptain). Approach: make for 24 deg 50.300' N, 76 deg 21.100' W then go due east to the fairway; red and green markers sit close to the breakwater in shallow water, so give them room. Surge enters the basin in strong south-west to north-west winds. Rock Sound groceries are a 40-minute drive; small convenience store on site. Four-night stays have earned a dockage credit in past seasons (2019, verify).
