Sunken Barge (Great Harbour Cay approach)
25° 47.4′ N · 77° 57.3′ W
A barge carrying a crane sank here in September 2019 on the bank approach to Great Harbour Cay; parts of the structure may show only at some tides.
Practical
ActiveCaptain hazard position. Passed at high tide in February 2022 with structure and a pole visible but nothing else to aid visibility; rough seas may hide it at high water. Plot it before running the bank route between the Stirrups and the Great Harbour channel.
Best for
A hazard to plot on the bank approach
