The site says the break wall, docks and pedestals are being upgraded. Pre-Dorian reviews (2017-2019) praised the staff, showers, pool and laundry, but criticized the price, gaps in the breakwater that let in swell (exposed to the west), and occasional water or power outages; the store was well stocked with produce and fresh bread in season. The Wrecker's Bar is closed after Hurricane Dorian damage. A reef about a mile offshore is good for snorkeling and diving (2018 report).
