Potter's Cay Dock (conch stands and mailboats)

25° 4.7′ N · 77° 19.4′ W

The working waterfront under the Paradise Island bridges: about forty conch shacks each making conch salad their own way, fish and produce markets, and the docks where the Out Island mailboats load.

Practical

Pin is ActiveCaptain's Out Island Mail Boat Dock on Potter's Cay. Fishermen land conch, crab and fish in the afternoon. McKenzie's, the first shack on the west side of the bridge, has been there 25+ years (bahamas.com). Noonsite calls it an excellent fresh-produce market for provisioning. Walkable from the East Bay Street marinas; dinghy landing is easier at a marina.
