Beach· New Providence (Nassau)· Bahamas — North
Love Beach
25° 3.8′ N · 77° 29.3′ W · approximate
A quieter north-shore beach about 20 minutes west of downtown, with about 40 acres of protected coral just offshore for snorkelling: a different vibe from busy Cable Beach.
Practical
Coordinate approximate: on the shore about 200 m south of the ActiveCaptain Love Beach day-stop pin (25.06409, -77.48779). ActiveCaptain: shallow water and a hidden reef lie about 150 yards offshore, so anchor off and dinghy in; beach the dinghy. Compass Point's restaurant is a beach walk away for sunset. Nassau Paradise Island promotion board: close to 40 acres of protected coral and a good first snorkel. One 2019 ActiveCaptain reviewer found little coral or life and preferred the long dinghy ride to Goulding Cay for healthier reef. Day stop only.
