Reviewer anchored about 300 ft south of the island and 300 ft west of a marked swimming area and sand bar, in 8 ft of medium sand; it held at 8:1 scope in moderate north winds with a small swell wrapping over the reef and around the island. Locals advised 8:1 to 10:1 scope. Moderate protection from ocean swell; good wind protection from the north only. Dinghy to the paid docks to the east or to the beaches.
