A one-boat, shoal-draft hidey-hole with a 12 ft hole inside a 2.5 ft entrance bar, where turtles swim around the boat. It gives about 330 degrees of protection.

ActiveCaptain position. About 2.5 ft over the entrance bar at MLW, then 12 ft inside, shoal all around the hole; enter on a high tide, staying in the centre as you turn south into the cut. Open only due north, to the narrow cut. No good landing inside. A 2017 crew rode out repeated storms here but had no phone or internet signal for weather. Pre-Dorian report.
