Hoffman's Cay West Anchorage (shallow-draft)

A shallow-draft spot on the west side of Hoffman's Cay with no swell in an east wind, wildlife all around, and the blue hole beach (look for the chair) close by.
Practical
ActiveCaptain position ('Hoffman's Cay - 1'). Follow the Explorer chart shallow-draft route from the north: nothing under 6 ft a few hours after high tide; a 2016 report saw 4 ft at low tide and over 6 ft at high. Very good paddleboarding in the main inlet. West winds are not good here, though the shallows give minimal protection.
