Green Turtle Cay Customs & Immigration (Port of Entry)
26° 46.8′ N · 77° 20.2′ W · approximate
Green Turtle Cay is again a port of entry, with customs and immigration officers working out of the Green Turtle Club Resort & Marina in White Sound — the first convenient place to clear in for boats coming down the Abaco chain from the north.
Practical
Position is the Green Turtle Club marina (marinas.com) — the clearance point per a January 2025 Noonsite cruiser report, which said check-in there was quick. The old New Plymouth customs office (Parliament Street; listed hours 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, weekends by request) was damaged by Hurricane Dorian in 2019, and for a time GTC was not a port of entry (a 2020 report had clearance moved to China Harbour on Great Abaco), so confirm before you arrive. Complete Click2Clear online first, fly the Q flag, and only the captain goes ashore. The Green Turtle Club arranges clearance for non-guests for a $50 fee (2026 marina page). Ask about current arrangements on the Green Turtle Cay Community Net, VHF 72 at 8:15am daily, or call the club on VHF 16.
