An open-roadstead anchorage on the Sea of Abaco side below the Bluff, outside White Sound, handy when the sounds are full or for a quick stop on the way past.
Practical
Approximate position about 300 m off the bluff west of White Sound, placed from the OpenStreetMap coastline. Noforeignland reviewers report reliable holding in sand and grass and protection from easterlies; mosquitoes can be bad in the evenings. The Moorings also lists anchoring outside White Sound and in Coco Bay. Open to the S, W and NW — move into White Sound before a front.
