Customs and immigration for the northern Berry Islands are handled right at the marina dock, making Great Harbour Cay the natural landfall after crossing the bank from Bimini.

Position approximate: the officials come to the marina dock (ActiveCaptain marina position). File Click2Clear before arrival. Call the marina on VHF 16 or 14 when near the cut; the marina brings you in, calls the officials and hands out paperwork (ActiveCaptain review, December 2019: the officer arrived about an hour later). The marina says it has arranged for Customs not to charge overtime between sunrise and sundown at the marina (ActiveCaptain note). Noforeignland users report vessel inspection, 90-day stays, and import limits of $100 in fresh produce and 1 L of alcohol; verify locally. The new airfield (2022) also has customs on site.
