Practical

Changing of the Guard is held on the second Friday of each month. Keep street-smart: Noonsite warns of a high crime rate, so lock the boat and the dinghy and outboard, and take care at night. John Watling's, the Bahamas' only rum distillery, offers daily tours at the 1789 Buena Vista Estate.
