Bimini propane (LPG) refills
25° 44.3′ N · 79° 17.4′ W · approximate
Where to ask about a cooking-gas fill in Bimini: Brown's supply store in Bailey Town and the two resorts are the only sources cruiser guides list, and nothing is guaranteed, so arrive with full tanks.
Practical
Coordinate is King Brown Food & General Store, Bailey Town (OpenStreetMap, phone 347-2305), which matches 'Brown Food Supply, 242-347-2305' in the Bahamas Cruisers Guide; the guide (2012) lists propane at 'Brown's Supply Store', at Resorts World (then Bimini Bay Resort, 242-347-2900) and at Bimini Sands (now Bimini Cove, 242-347-3500). Newer ActiveCaptain data does not confirm any of these: Resorts World's listing shows propane 'No' (2023) and Browns Marina 'No'. Treat this as old information and phone before carrying a tank over. US tanks may need an adapter; refills may mean leaving the tank overnight. Reliable fills are in Nassau and Freeport (see those entries), so fill in Florida before crossing.
Best for
A last-chance propane fill before the Bank
