Nassau Yacht Haven lists CIBC FirstCaribbean bank and ATM next door; Bay Street Marina lists Scotiabank nearby; ActiveCaptain reviewers note banks and ATMs close to the downtown/Junkanoo Beach landing. The Bahamian dollar is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and both are used. Many Out Island settlements have no ATM or only one, and card machines fail; draw enough cash here before heading to the Exumas or Berry Islands.
