Tropic of Cancer Beach

A mile of powder-white sand curving away below a concrete stair with the Tropic of Cancer line painted across it — the longest and most photographed beach in the Exumas, and usually close to empty.
Practical
Free, always open, no facilities and no shade — bring water. Road access at Moore Hill on Little Exuma, 30-40 minutes from George Town. Can be exposed in strong southerlies.
