Valdez Small Boat Harbor (Valdez)
61° 7.5′ N · 146° 20.9′ W
The city harbor at the head of Port Valdez has two fuel docks, pump-out, power and water at the slips, and plenty of transient dock space. It is the main fuel and supply stop on the eastern side of Prince William Sound.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM marina node. PredictWind lists two fuel docks with seasonal hours (at the ends of Tour Dock and B Dock in the north basin, and V and R Docks in the south basin), pump-out, a boat lift and small crane, and about 1,800 ft and 1,400 ft of transient dock in the two basins with hot berthing. Call the office on VHF 16 before arriving (channel 7 working), speed limit 3 mph in the harbor, check in after tying up. It is not a port of entry. Phone 907-835-4981. Fuel hours are unconfirmed.
