On Grenada's main island you clear IN only at Port Louis Marina. The customs and immigration office sits in the marina village, and most yachts arriving from the north make it their first stop.
Practical
Position is approximate, at the Port Louis Marina village (OpenStreetMap). The Grenada Tourism Authority names two official ports of entry: Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in St George's, and Tyrrel Bay Marina on Carriacou. Anchor in the Lagoon or take a berth, fly the Q flag and the Grenada courtesy flag, and take the boat's papers and passports ashore. Office hours at marine bases are generally 8 am–4 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am–2 pm on weekends and public holidays, with overtime fees outside those hours. Attend by about 3 pm to finish the same day. You can clear OUT here, at Spice Island Marina (Prickly Bay), at Le Phare Bleu or at Grenville, and must leave within 24 hours (Pure Grenada). Noonsite reports an extension-of-stay cruising fee of EC$75 per person per month, in force since November 1, 2019; verify locally. Pay in EC dollars, since there is an ATM at the marina. Ask for receipts, as a 2019 Noonsite comment reported an overcharge. Recent Noonsite comments (2022–2024) confirm cruisers who tried to clear in on the south coast were sent to Port Louis or used a paid agent.
