IGY Rodney Bay Marina

14° 4.6′ N · 60° 57.0′ W

St Lucia's main marina fills the dredged inner lagoon behind Reduit Beach: 253 berths including 32 for megayachts, a boatyard, customs and immigration on site, and the ARC's Caribbean finish. It is completely protected and the most convenient port of entry in St Lucia.

Practical

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap marina node. Call 'Rodney Bay Marina' on VHF 16 before entering the channel for a slip assignment and line handling, then check in at the marina office (IGY). Max LOA 285 ft, max draft 13 ft (3.9 m), max beam 60 ft (Noonsite business listing). Docks: C, D, E, F, G and J are wide floating pontoons with finger slips; A and B are high concrete docks with a pile about 4 m off the finger end; I dock is the superyacht pier. Power is mainly 220 V with 110 V at selected docks (30/50/100 A single- and 3-phase per IGY); a dock attendant meters water and electricity, so do not hook up yourself. Office hours (Noonsite, April 2025): Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, weekends 8 am to 4 pm; if arriving after hours contact the office at least 24 hours ahead (+1 758-458-7200, rbm@igymarinas.com). Advance reservations strongly recommended, especially in December. A slip still occupied after 4:30 pm on departure day is charged another night. On site: chandlery (Island Water World), LPG refills, showers, laundry, bank/ATM, small supermarket, car hire, restaurants, FedEx at the marina office, 24-hour security with smart-card gates and free Wi-Fi. Dock rates: ask the office (verify locally). A Noonsite contributor rode out Hurricane Beryl (July 2024) inside the marina, which filled up the day before.
