Habitation Céron (Le Prêcheur)
14° 49.9′ N · 61° 13.2′ W
A 17th-century sugar and cocoa estate in the rainforest between river and sea north of Le Prêcheur, now a garden and restaurant known for river crayfish caught at night and grilled à la plancha.
Practical
Martinique tourism lists it as both a site to visit and a restaurant. The restaurant serves crayfish with produce from the estate's own garden, refined fish and meat menus, chocolate fondant and homemade bitter-orange jam, plus afternoon treats in the shade of the cabins. It is set along the old 'case-nègre' street. Position from OSM. By road from Le Prêcheur towards Anse Céron and Anse Couleuvre, or walk up from Anse Céron. Check opening days before going.
