12° 1.6′ N · 61° 45.4′ W · approximate
Every late January or early February the sailing communities of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique bring their wooden, bamboo-rigged workboats to Grand Anse Beach for two days of fierce racing, music, oil down and rum.
Practical
Position is the Grand Anse Beach coordinate used elsewhere in this guide (approx). Recent editions: January 28–29, 2017; February 1–2, 2020 (WoodenBoat listing).
