The long-established family charter company on the north shore of Blue Lagoon. Besides charters and an ASA sailing school, it runs the closest thing St Vincent has to a full yacht-service yard.
Practical
The base lists dockage, moorings (US$15 a night), fuel, propane, water and ice, a provisioning service, workshops with mechanics, a carpenter and a fibreglass specialist, a full-service sail loft and canvas shop, jeep rental and island tours, and a travel agency (Barefoot website, viewed Oct 2026). The in-house marine services team covers engines, electronics, refrigeration, electrics and air-conditioning, woodwork and fibreglass and paint. The owner told Cruising World there is no chandlery on St Vincent, so bring critical spares. The nearest parts counter is the St Vincent Marine Center, a Budget Marine agent (see that entry).
