Anses Gros Raisin (Sainte-Luce)
14° 27.9′ N · 60° 55.6′ W
Two calm, palm- and sea-grape-shaded coves just west of Sainte-Luce, split by a rocky point. Snack bars sit on the first and the second is quieter.
Practical
Position is from OSM (Plage de Gros Raisin). The water is generally calm and clear, with showers, picnic tables and an outdoor fitness trail (Routard). The coastal path leads to the town in about 10 minutes, and on to Anse Mabouya, Pont Café and the Trois-Rivières distillery (6.5 km, about 1.5 hours). Swimming is unsupervised except at Corps-de-Garde. Beware manchineel trees (Lonely Planet).
