VI Port Authority schedule (2026): Red Hook to Cruz Bay about hourly, weekdays 5:30 am to 11:30 pm and weekends 6:30 am to 11:30 pm; Cruz Bay to Red Hook 6 am to 11 pm; non-resident fare US$8.15 one way, luggage US$4 a piece; operators Transportation Services and Varlack Ventures (340-776-6282 / 340-776-6412). A temporary off-season schedule ran July 26 to October 31, 2026. Car ferries (Big Red Barge, Tug Life, Love City Car Ferries) use the Noel 'Breeze' Boynes Sr. car ferry dock here; tickets are not interchangeable (VIPA, Wikipedia). VITRAN public ferries also run Red Hook to Cruz Bay (Wikipedia). For yachts: expect constant ferry traffic and wakes in Vessup Bay.
