Crucian Christmas Festival

17° 42.9′ N · 64° 52.9′ W

St Croix's carnival, December through the first week of January, built on traditions from the early 1800s: the nightly Festival Village, calypso and soca monarch shows, J'ouvert at dawn, and the Children's and Adults' Parades down King Street, Frederiksted.

Practical

Coordinate from GoToStCroix's event listing (100 Lagoon Street, Frederiksted). Much of the action is in Frederiksted: the Village at the fairgrounds there and the parades one block up from the waterfront; it climaxes around Three Kings Day (January 6). Listed 2026 dates include the Calypso Monarch on December 18 and the Old Year's/New Year's Eve all-white celebration on December 31 (GoToStCroix). Anchor off Frederiksted only if the trades are normal; otherwise come by car from Christiansted.
