Coki Point Beach

18° 21.0′ N · 64° 52.0′ W

A small white-sand beach on the northeast shore beside Coral World, generally considered the best shore snorkel on St. Thomas, with fish and turtles on the reef either side of the beach and Thatch Cay across the channel.

Practical

Coordinates from Wikipedia. Coast Pilot: Coki Point is a 47 ft bluff with a sandy beach on its north side and shoreline foul with coral and fringing reef east and west of the beach; it forms the north shore of Water Bay; Turtleback Rock (2 ft) lies off the Water Bay entrance 0.3 mile SE of Coki Point. A boardwalk and bathhouse were added in 2011; a dive shop on the beach rents snorkel and scuba gear and runs guided dives; vendors sell food and drinks (Wikipedia). Reached by taxi from town, or by dinghy from the Water Bay anchorage in calm conditions; busy on cruise-ship days.
