Choeng Mon Beach Slipway
9° 34.3′ N · 100° 5.0′ E
A sand ramp at Choeng Mon on Samui's northeast tip, the only slipway OpenStreetMap maps on the island. It suits dinghies, jet skis and small trailer boats, not yachts.
Practical
Coordinate is the centre of OSM way 1358150941 (leisure=slipway, surface=sand, edited February 2025). No operator, fee or depth is published; verify locally. It is a soft sand beach ramp, so you need a 4x4 or a tractor and a rising tide to launch or recover. The Choeng Mon anchorage is about 1 km east in 4-5 m on sand (Island Spirit guide), and the southern part of the bay is full of private day-tripper moorings, so do not pick one up.
Best for
Launching or recovering a dinghy or small boat
