St François Atoll Flats

A 5,400 ha atoll that is two-thirds reef flats and one-third lagoon, just south of Alphonse across Canal de la Mort. The flats are the main reason Alphonse's fly-fishing is famous.
Practical
Reached from Alphonse by boat in under 30 minutes. Guided catch-and-release only, through the Alphonse operation, and no unauthorised fishing. Many shipwrecks litter the reefs. Coordinate is the atoll centroid from OpenStreetMap.
