A small south-coast bay below the Fond Ferdinand reserve, a short hop south-west of the Baie Ste Anne entrance, used as a calm-weather lunch stop with the reserve's walk ashore.

Practical

Faces south and south-east, so it is sheltered from the NW monsoon and exposed to the SE trades. No cruising guide in the sources checked gives depths, holding or moorings for this bay; the south-coast fringing reef means anchoring off the reef edge and landing by dinghy only in calm conditions. Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve's entrance is on the coast road nearby. Position approximate: about 500 m south-east of the OSM-mapped beach, off the reef; check depth on a current chart.

Best for

Settled-weather lunch stop combined with the Fond Ferdinand walk

Season

Dec–Apr in settled weather; exposed in the SE trades
