Galiano's ferry village at the east end of Active Pass, with a general store, bookshop, post office and garage within a few minutes' walk of the dock. It is the island's main shopping stop.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM public wharf. CRD public float next to the ferry terminal for short stops; first 3 hours free by day, then about C$0.70 per foot, C$1.25 per foot overnight. Heavy ferry wash from Active Pass traffic makes it uncomfortable to stay long. Galiano Garage has car fuel and a convenience store; the post office and bookshop are close by. For marine fuel use Montague Harbour Marina. Chart 3473.
