Coordinate is the OSM ferry slip. Ferries leave often; keep clear of the slips and of ferries working Guemes Channel and Thatcher Pass. Ship Harbor is not good holding ground: boats anchoring there in heavy weather should expect to drag (Coast Pilot). Shannon Point has a light and a mariner-activated sound signal (key VHF 81A five times); a shoal runs north-west off the point.
