Noonsite: official port of entry; Port Authority offices close to the ferry terminal on the eastern side of the city (2016). Clear with Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (and historically police); OCC (2000) reported an official clearance fee of PHP 65 but unofficial demands - pay only against official receipts (Hacking Family). Noonsite 2025: cruisers advised to avoid Davao over customs demands; Surigao customs not following Davao's approach and the mayor and authorities are cruiser-friendly - verify before arrival.
