Subic Fuel (Rizal Highway Stations and Truck Bunkering)

14° 49.5′ N · 120° 17.2′ E

There is no proper marine fuel dock that cruisers trust in Subic. Most yachts jerry-jug diesel from the highway stations across the road from the yacht club, and big motor yachts order a tanker truck.

Practical

Pin is the Petron station on Rizal Highway opposite SBYC (OSM); a Total station sits about 200 m east. In 2023 SBYC members advised against the diesel dock just outside the marina, and dock staff will lend jerrycans and a hand pump. A 2024 report says most cruisers do use 'a fuel dock' and another small-quantity fuel pontoon exists, so ask the marina what is working now. For large quantities, a 6,000-litre bunker truck can be arranged just outside the marina; one motor yacht used Hoya Marine in 2024. LPG is widely available, and North American bottles can be filled at the main Island Gas depot in Santa Rita, Olongapo (2018 report; verify locally). Diesel price is unregulated in the Philippines; compare stations. Fuel options by marina, from the PGYC yacht-club directory: Subic Bay Yacht Club (VHF 72) lists fuel 'by arrangement', and Watercraft Venture Marina lists fuel. Ask either marina to arrange delivery to the dock before you jerry-jug. Outside Subic, the nearest yacht fuel is at Punta Fuego Yacht Club (Nasugbu) and the Maya-Maya marina (PGYC), plus Manila Yacht Club.
