Cavite's highest peak at 688 m, a dormant volcano on the Cavite-Batangas border topped by the 'Parrot's Beak' monolith. Hikers get a 360-degree view down to Limbones Cove and the Hamilo coast.

Wikidata summit position. Wikipedia: highest peak of the Mounts Palay-Palay-Mataas-na-Gulod Protected Landscape. Trails have been closed repeatedly for rehabilitation (2016, COVID, typhoon damage in 2021). A soft reopening in December 2022 required online booking with limited numbers, and full reopening was scheduled for January 2023. Check current status. The DENR registration station and parking are on the Ternate side of the Ternate-Nasugbu road (OSM 14.2325°N 120.6577°E), a taxi ride from Caylabne or Pico de Loro Cove.
