Malinta Tunnel

14° 23.3′ N · 120° 35.4′ E

The bomb-proof tunnel complex the US Army dug through Malinta Hill in 1932-34. It was MacArthur's headquarters and the Commonwealth government's refuge during the 1942 siege.

Practical

Wikidata/Wikipedia position. A Light and Sound presentation on WWII events runs inside, plus a night tour of the unexplored laterals (Wikivoyage). Wikipedia says the old audio-visual show is no longer operational, so check what is running. Entrance near Bottomside, a short walk from North Dock.
