Ilig-Iligan Beach Anchorage

11° 59.7′ N · 121° 55.8′ E · approximate

A small bay on Boracay's north-east coast near Puka, used by island-hopping boats and named by the YIT guide as a yacht stop.

Practical

Approx: placed about 200 m off the OpenStreetMap Ilig-Iligan Beach outline. YIT gives 5–9 m and says it is calmer in the amihan; note that the bay opens to the north-east, so check conditions on the day before committing. Island-hopping tours stop at Puka or Ilig-Iligan for swimming. A bat cave lies just north of the beach. Uncharted bommies throughout; enter in good light. Bottom type and holding are not stated by YIT or any other source we found.
