Crocodile Island

11° 57.0′ N · 121° 57.1′ E

A small rocky islet off Boracay's south-east corner whose profile looks like a crocodile's back; its coral-encrusted wall with overhangs and caverns is a classic dive and snorkel stop.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap islet outline (Manoc-Manoc). Wall on the south side; Wikivoyage gives 22–25 m as a straightforward wall dive. Sits in a current-swept channel with soft corals and many sea snakes (Underwater Asia); currents can be tricky, rising tide best (MyDiveGuide logbook data). Described as the most colourful night dive. Snorkel boats tie to the rocks; do not anchor on the reef. Hawksbill turtles and eagle rays reported.
