Cadlao West Anchorage (Balinaod Bay)

11° 13.5′ N · 119° 20.6′ E

A sandy bay on the west side of Cadlao, the tallest island of Bacuit, split by a rock - a quiet alternative to the town anchorages with the island's jungle-draped karst overhead.

Practical

Hacking Family: 11°13.51'N 119°20.61'E, 33 ft (about 10 m) sand. A rock splits the bay; the southern half is the better anchorage, all sand. No hazards on approach - anchor in whatever depth suits you. Families live ashore. Smart 3G only, no Globe (2020-22). Open to the west.

Best for

Quiet overnight on Cadlao

Season

NE monsoon; open to the west
