Position: OSM 'Apo Island Lagoon'. Tara Let's Anywhere (2019): mangrove area reached by a boardwalk; S1 Expeditions (2014): island centre is a mangrove-ringed lagoon with karst on the west side. Apo Island (22 ha) is an Important Bird Area with at least 10,000 breeding seabird pairs across the park (Wikipedia). Bring insect repellent for sand flies.
