The only true warship of the Coron fleet: a 118 m seaplane tender lying on her port side between Lajo and Manglet islands, her flying-boat crane resting on the sand among giant batfish and barracuda.

Diver GPS (starfish.ch): 11 59.226N 119 58.412E; coronwrecks.com: 11 59.218N 119 58.417E. Depth 22-36 m (starboard hull at about 22 m), currents moderate to strong, visibility 5-15 m (Scubatech). Hit aft by dive bombers on September 24, 1944; she had survived bombing at Truk in February 1944. Live ammunition reported around the collapsed bridge debris: look, do not touch. Penetration (engine room with four diesels) for certified wreck divers only.
