An anchorage off small Calumbuyan Island outside Busuanga Bay, with a friendly day resort, white sand and some of the best snorkelling near the wrecks.
Practical
Arnak (2010): 12 01.085N 119 56.827E on clean bottom in 21 m; watch the reef running NW from the northern tip of Calumbuyan in the passage between the islands. Lifelines (2008): east side at 12 00.75N 119 56.59E in 22 m, very protected in a westerly, fantastic snorkelling, pretty and friendly day resort. Shanghaied: 12 01.344N 119 56.467E in 20 m, probably sand; coral good but few fish. The Calumbuyan beach entry covers the landing fee.
