The big-box provisioning cluster on Avenida Fluvial Vallarta: Costco and La Comer side by side, with Walmart Supercenters nearby. This is where boats load up before heading south or across the Pacific.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM way for Costco Puerto Vallarta (Avenida Fluvial Vallarta 134). La Comer is about 200 m away on the same block (OSM). A Walmart Supercenter is on Boulevard Francisco Medina Ascencio near Marina Vallarta (see separate entry) and another on Cardenal in Pitillal; Noonsite also notes a Sam's Club between the marina and town. Costco was undamaged (only vehicles in its car park burned) during the February 22, 2026 cartel unrest. Take a taxi back to the boat with a big load; buses marked 'Walmart' run along the main boulevard.
