A Chedraui supermarket on the waterfront street in the old town covers most groceries within walking distance of the anchorage and dinghy landing. Bigger Chedraui and Super Aki stores in the inland colonia handle a full reprovision.

In the inland colonia by the highway are Chedraui on Calle Chechen (20.85666, -86.89825) and Super AKI on the Carretera Federal (20.86138, -86.89649), plus several OXXO convenience stores. Cruisers coming off Marina El Cid's moorings have long used the town's small supermarket for top-ups (Ajaya blog, 2011). Mexican agricultural inspectors may check fresh produce on arrival from abroad. For a big stock-up (Costco, Walmart), take a taxi or colectivo 30-odd km north to Cancún. Hours: verify locally.
