A long, wild surf beach between Mazunte and Puerto Ángel, Mexico's only legal nude beach and a 1970s hippie haven, with rustic cabins and palapa bars along the sand.

Coordinates from Wikipedia. Not an anchorage: open surf with strong, circulating rip currents ('beach of the dead'); a volunteer lifeguard team and flags mark where swimming is safest. Ocean Posse reported rough seas off Zipolite (2017). Visit by road from Mazunte or Puerto Ángel. The naturist festival is the first weekend of February.
