A barefoot beach walk of 1-1.5 miles along Cozumel's lee shore from Playa Palancar to Alberto's, the beach bar that catches its own fish.

Coordinate is approximate: the midpoint between the OpenStreetMap 'Playa Palancar' beach (20.36235, -87.02456) and Alberto's Beach Bar (Wikivoyage, 20.37221, -87.02378). Wikivoyage says it is possible, though not officially recommended, to walk the 1.6-2.4 km up the beach from Playa Palancar to Alberto's. Parts of the shore are rocky - wear reef shoes; go in the morning or for sunset at Alberto's. Inside the reef national park: no collecting shells or coral.
